Houses

Heat pump, solar panels and fan coils for your house

In a house, the air-to-water heat pump, the solar panels and the terminals are designed together as one system: heating in winter, cooling and dehumidification in summer, domestic hot water all year round.

What matters

The building's needs

  • Heating and cooling from one system

Heating can be underfloor or by fan coils. Cooling and dehumidification come from the fan coils.

  • The right terminal for every room

Lolly in the living room, Zephir in the bedroom, EOS in the bathroom, Aris recessed in the wall or Brisell OC hidden in the false ceiling.

  • Domestic hot water

From the same heat pump, with a dedicated cylinder.

  • Fresh air

Heat recovery ventilation, where the house is airtight.

The solution

What we do for your house

  • Room-by-room heat load calculation.
  • Air-to-water heat pump and solar panels, sized together.
  • The right terminal for each room, including the bathroom.
  • Domestic hot water from the same heat pump, with a dedicated cylinder.
  • Heat recovery ventilation where the house is airtight.
  • App control with Wi-Fi+ or whole-home automation with Integra Benessere.

Stages

How a project runs

  1. First conversation

You tell us about the building and what you want. We ask for drawings, bills or details of the existing system, if you have them.

  2. Site visit and assessment

On site we check the roof, the plant rooms, the electrical connection and the possible pipe and duct routes.

  3. Design and quote

We propose the layout, the equipment and the work stages, with a price for each stage.

  4. Installation and commissioning

We install, balance and commission the system, then train the people who use and manage it.

Frequently asked questions

What clients ask us

Can I keep underfloor heating?

Yes. The floor can stay for heating, while the fan coils handle cooling and dehumidification. The Vision+ thermostat also controls the underfloor system, for heating only.

How powerful should the terminal in a room be?

As a quick estimate, the Sollis 2024 catalog uses P = K × V, where V is the room volume in m³ and K is 25–30 W/m³ for cooling and 35–40 W/m³ for heating, depending on how well the house is insulated. For example, a 20 m² room with a 2.7 m ceiling is 54 m³, so roughly 1.4–1.6 kW for cooling. This is indicative; in the design we calculate the load room by room.

Can the solar panels cover all of the heat pumps' consumption?

It depends on the roof area and orientation, on the building's consumption and on the season. In winter the panels produce less and the heat pumps also run on grid power. We calculate the share the panels cover in the design, for your building.
