About Metrovent
Metrovent is an all-in-one measuring and adjusting flowmeter, specifically designed to quickly balance the flow rates in a ventilation system.
It can be installed along any DN 75 ventilation duct. It uses a mechanical turbine-based method: the red hand shows the flow rate at a glance, and the butterfly valve then allows the flow rate to be adjusted with a screwdriver.
Metrovent has a measurement uncertainty, calculated according to EN 12599, below 10% and is certified by an accredited laboratory for flow-rate measuring devices. A calibration process at the factory during production ensures the accuracy and repeatability of the measurement over time.
Such precision makes Metrovent compliant with the new EN 12599 standard for balancing and handing over a ventilation system. This standard requires flow-rate measurement and balancing to be carried out on the construction site before the ventilation system is handed over. Such operations are incredibly easy with Metrovent.
Metrovent was developed specifically with heat recovery ventilation systems in mind; for this reason, no general-purpose measuring device can match it when it comes to ventilation in residential buildings and small commercial premises.
Inside Metrovent an 8-blade turbine is fitted, equipped with a calibrated contrasting torsional spring. When the airflow passes through the turbine, it generates a torque proportional to the flow, balanced by the action of the spring. The turbine therefore shifts from its rest position to a new position of equilibrium, proportional to the flow in the pipe, and its needle gives an immediate reading of the airflow in m3/h or CFM.

- Install on any DN75 duct4 plastic clips included in each package for a tight, tool-free installation; can be fitted right downstream of the manifold or in the apartment's partitions; completely airtight thanks to O-ring gaskets on the butterfly valve.
- Virtually no pressure lossDesigned with advanced aeronautical design and testing methods: the pressure drop of Metrovent 75 at 30 m3/h is lower than 1 Pa, negligible for sizing and operation.
